Through the generosity of the people who visited our Earth Day Forest in Limeridge Mall last April, we were able to plant mature native species trees at 3 local schools.  Thanks to Limeridge Mall for their support.

Since 1997, Earth Day Hamilton-Burlington has organized annual events to educate, inspire, and engage youth and citizens to take action and make changes in their lives to improve the environment. We have …

• Provided 40,000 area students with the opportunity to interact with environmental experts and experience nature first hand, offering them inspiration and the tools for environmental change, at our fun, educational annual Eco-Festival.

• Restored local habitat by organizing citizens in the planting of 13,000 trees through our annual community Tree Planting event.

• Planted 36 mature native trees at schools across the region.  

• Taken action on global warming and climate change by encouraging schools and businesses to take steps at reducing their environmental footprint through our Go Green Challenge which offers incentives for environmental conservation.
