The Eco-Festival is a FREE event for schools:
So that ALL schools and ALL children can attend, the Eco-Festival is free, including transportation - but we could use your help! Support local environmental education! Visit our Donate page.
Background
The Earth Day Eco-Festival has educated 40,000 students for 14 years. It offers students ideas about what they can do in their community. It gives them a chance to hear from people that have made a positive impact on the environment.
This unique event brings together a number of environmental organizations, businesses, and experts who collaborate to offer a full day of programming at the beautiful Royal Botanical Gardens
Elementary Schools:
Grades 4-6 are invited to attend. Teachers, sign up for the Eco-Festival - select the Schools option above. Registration date TBA. The event fills up quickly.
All other grades can get involved by participating in our GO GREEN CHALLENGE and help fight climate change.
High Schools:
High school students can be part of the Eco-Festival experience by joining our volunteer team. You'll have fun and learn too!
Or help fight climate change and conserve the environment by joining the GO GREEN CHALLENGE increasing school-wide environmental activities. The Challenge's point system awards the school with the most points a mature native tree planted at their school.
Or put together an interactive environmental activity or dramatic/comedic Eco Play and showcase it at our Eco-Festival! Contact us for more information.
